Nikki Howard, LMHC, Telehealth Only

Nikki Howard is a licensed mental health counselor who received her master's degree from Liberty University in professional counseling.  She works with teens, adults, and couples via telehealth.  Through her work with childhood trauma, self-esteem issues, and relationship conflict, she has helped clients develop healthy communication skills, learn emotional awareness and regulation, and identify and replace negative habits.  Nikki also has years of experience walking with teens and young adults through their life journeys in the context of church small groups.  Nikki uses a warm, nonjudgmental approach to foster the trust required for safe exploration of personal issues.  She blends tenets of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and psychodynamic practices to help clients meet their treatment goals.
